Well, this movie is quite an improvement from the original, I must say. First off, this movie would have better deserved the name Tenchi Muyo in Love, because he is acutually in love. Second, this movie
is crafted to a more adult and mature audience, and brings at least a slight bit of closure to the Tenchi Relationships. And for you impatient fans out there, yes Tenchi does (essentially) decide between Ayeka and Ryoko. Yes, I'm sorry to say that there will not
be any more wild antics, Tenchi is now grown-up in mind and in body. While watching, keep in mind that

the movie is Action/Drama, not comedy.
Given that comedy is no longer an issue, the plot is amazing. Although some may be confused about what is transpiring, the story is fairly easy to grasp even with a relatively minimal knowledge of the series.
This movie sets up some of the most realistic character relationships and motivations that a science fiction movie can hope far, making it appealing to even those who do not enjoy animé. Although not a family experiance persay, the movie can be appreciated
by all movie conniseurs. Also, unlike most animés, there is a very definite conclusion to this movie. However, I cannot say any more without giving away the plot.
Music, meh. I mean it was good, but nothing profoundly original. Good animation mostly made up
for the movie's lack of distinguishingly appealing audio. For the first time, the Tenchi characters have actually aged and changed. Also, the visuals are slightly more crisp than the already amazing series. Overall, mediawise at least, Tenchi Forever does not
dissapoint
I cannot express in words how necessary this movie was to the animé community. I am so sick of watching one Tenchi series after another without recieving any closure. Yes, Tenchi does decide, Yes, Tenchi has grown older, yes (kids close your eyes)
Tenchi had sex. Finally, it was about time for some conclusion instead of the most substantiated filler ever created. If you need closure, watch this. If you don't, watch this anyways, it is a good animé.
