When I first started watching this animé I believed it was sincerely stupid. After watching the animé I still hold that belief, but I must admit that it is some of the most quality stupidity I've ever seen. I have grieved and cried over the hour I lost watching this animé with its amzingly confusing and concentrated story to its lack of development and background. Although many love this animé take my advice: save your money.

I had high hopes for this animé after reading rave
"When hot clones collide (with guns)"
reviews on the internet. It pained me to keep my eyes focused on the TV, each second draining a little bit more of my soul. The story is beyond stupid, some crazy scientist weilding an undercover secret agent whore trying to destroy the world with a reincarnation of Beethoven. If you thought reading that last sentance was wounding, try watching it portrayed with animation. The only thing that saved plot from recieving a 0 is its portrayal of America as a nuke-and-plane happy demi-psychotic nation (I laughed each time the President went Insane). I tried to sympathize with the characters and their fates, but it was just too shory and too dumb for me to care too much.

Animation is the only saving grace of this animé. To be concise, it was awesome. I don't care about this animé enough to get into more detail than that. As for music however, there was nothing too outstanding about Read of Die. In fact, the only time I enjoyed the music was when Beethoven (incarnate) was playing his music on a giant rocket to destroy the world. That's about it.

I could have considered this at least a decent animé if it had some form of premise, but it didn't. The story just started and you were bombarded by characters you didn't know, and then it was over. There was no explanation and no background: succintly, it sucked. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Otaku Alex BEGS you not to see this.
