The spring special picks up just about right where the Christmas Special leaves off. The only difference is, Shinobu plays
a role more important than just appearing. In this exposition I must declare that I hate Shinobu: she is the most annoying animé charachter ever concieved.
That said, the fact that she makes more than a 5 second appearance got on my nerves after, well, 5 seconds. Still, I do not allow these personal feeling to affect my judgement, because all around,
this special was worse than the other one.

Animation is perfect as usual, not digressing from the rest of the series. The music score actually went down from the series though
on account of 1 part - the musical exposé in the middle of the episode. The only redeeming part of THAT was hearing Megumi Hayashibara (Haruka), one of my favorite seiyuus, sing.
Although the plot progressed, it was done in the most boring, unattatched, and filler-like installment that I have ever seen. If it was not for their
acceptance, this would be a filler episode. Also, characters basically remained static, with the same ultimate finalé as the Christmas special: the infamous proclomation of love.
Background information is scarce. Many of this animé's original ideas and aspirations are lost, especially the ability that TV Tokyo had to develop the plot between Haruka and Seta.
If you are a Love Hina fan, watch this installment, if not, this is one you may think to pass over.
