Don't screw with the future: a theme that is all too prevalent in Love Hina Christmas Special. This OAV capitalizes on all that was
good about the series, and progresses both the characters and the plot, while providing no lack of humor. All of the lovable cast has returned for another episode, what will become
of the imfamous confession one must give on Christmas Eve.
As this animé is simply a continuation, there is no need to discuss factors such as music or

they have remained generally constant with the series. And yet I must say that the graphic quality is still astounding, no matter how many times I have seen it (even in Love Hina itself).
The two real questions of all such follow-up's are 1) Do the charachters change, at all, and 2) Does the plot somehow progress? Luckily for this animé, both aspects
are present. The story moves forwards (at least chronologically) as the next exam time approaches. Character wise - Naru and Keitaro finally express their love to eachother openly. Other characters in the animé
also play a significant role in this OAV, creating a very balanced and pleasing effect overall.
Premise is hard to judge, because the premise is the series, and the new little flashback in the middle.
For a short OAV, they had a enough background to keep you hooked, but not enough for new people to watch. And yet, why would you watch it if you hadn't seen the series. Thus my recommendation: watch Love Hina, then watch this.
