It has been a long time since I have laughed this hard while watching an animé. Green green, although not original in the least
, provides for endless amounts of enjoyment on an animal level. Some of the comedy reminded me of something between Love Hina and Ranma 1/2, but the Baka Trio made me laugh every time with
their crazy exploits. Unfortunately, the creators decided to actually add a plot, something that doesn't work for this style of animé. Not only did they add it, but it was bad, something a
second grader would burn off of their

fridge.
As I started to say, the plot was some horrible rendition of a forbidden love story mixed with a bad episode of the X-Files. Not only did the plot not fit with the animé, but
every time it was brought up it made the characters awkwardly silent. As for the ending, it made no sense. Right after Midori says, "I have engraved myself on his heart forever", he forgets her.
Speaking of Midori, the characters in this animé are non existant. The men are sex-centered beasts and women are vulnerable walking breasts, literally. Only the Baka Trio was truly original.
Music was mediocre overall, but the opening and ending credits were amazing (and I'm not just saying this because I'm a guy). Animation - beautiful. Even considering how new this animé is, some of the frames
still shocked me with their visual detail but overall simplicity. The artwork made the series just that much easier to follow.
If you are laughting your eyes out while watching this, you may forget to
notice how little is actually said. There is no premise at all, stuff just happens for no apparent reason and characters just function whenever they are needed to serve whatever purpose is needed. Then again,
if you plan on watching this series, you probably couldn't give a damn about plot or character or premise so I say: go with it!!! This animé is hilarious.
